Do you think Trump will drop out of the 2024 election?

I think he will. But I don't think he will do it because he figures he can't win. I think he will do it because he knows the only person a president can't pardon is them self's. So he is counting on the next president to pardon him. Cheers and happy weekend!

Who do you think would make a good President?

No one. Most politicians are in on the grift and the ones that are actually trying to make the world a better place will never be the potus. The two parties will never let it happen.

And miss out on all that publicity and attention?  Not hardly.  He thrives on attention.  And he will find a way to either pardon himself or a least dismiss all the "problems" he's facing (although he may not do it "legally").

I think he's too much of an egotist/narcissist to drop out.  His opinion of himself is too high to allow him to do that as it would admit defeat and, as we have seen for the past couple of years, he can't admit that.  What I wonder is whether he would continue to fight like this if he wasn't being financially supported by his minions.  If he had to spend his own money on lawyers, etc., I'm not so sure he would.

No, I don't think he will drop out.  He may be the first person elected President while in jail.

No chance. He sees candidacy as a way to delay his criminal trials. And the presidency as a way to put off going to prison.

Nope, and he will be President again.

And he can pardon himself for supposed federal crimes but not state ones.

Nobody not a member of the Cult of Trump ever believed that, or believes it now.

The chart you posted is flawed. There is no specific information to verify/check the conclusions of the "poll". And even though the "facts" quoted can't be verified, BELIEVING something is so doesn't make it so!

When I was reviewing the rasmussenreports.com website, there was more questionable advertising than other, including six large "click bait" ads. It doesn't give me a warm and fuzzy feeling about the site. I'd provide better facts, but there weren't any.

Rasmussen is known for a right-leaning bias.

I'm a bit handicapped when it comes to politics, that's why I try to avoid these topics. But sometimes something just reaches out a grabs me! I don't know a lefty from a righty, a liberal from a conservative, an orange from a purple. In other words, I need specific information to evaluate an issue. It's kind of a handicap on a site like this one.

Yes, realclearpolitics.com is very good for looking at polls.  They do not do their own polls, the list polls by different reputable polling companies.  Rasmussen is one of those who they post.

So you agree Rasmussen is reputable.

RCP will not post this type of poll because they pretty much only do primary/general election polls, candidate/Pres favorability polls, and right/wrong track polls.

I know that Rasmussen is known for its right-leaning bias. Real Clear Politics does a good job of aggregating different polls, which mitigates the effect of both led-leaning and right-leaning biases.

Don’t put words in my mouth.

Real Clear Politics uses them....if they were not reputable....RCP would not use them at all.
