Do you think Trump will drop out of the 2024 election?

I think he will. But I don't think he will do it because he figures he can't win. I think he will do it because he knows the only person a president can't pardon is them self's. So he is counting on the next president to pardon him. Cheers and happy weekend!

RCP also uses polls from left-leaning outlets like CNN and MSNBC. They’re just as reputable, but they aggregate the polls to balance the biases.

It is not "facts" is is a poll.  A poll is not ever "facts" it is simply a survey of a people.    I posted  link (below under Spunky's reply)  to another poll from May says 55% think cheating was likely.  I cannot find the link to the one I posted but I will not pay anyone monthly for access to all of their materials.

I do not see any click bait but I do not use google chrome or ms-edge as a browser.  I use Brave which automatically blocks that stuff.

How about posting a link to this poll so that we can read it.

The info is in the graphic.....I am sure you can find it IF you want.

Here is another recent one: (55% believe there was fraud/cheating)

I could NOT find it which is why I asked for the link.  If I could read the info in the graphic which, by the way is too fuzzy to read, I wouldn't have asked you.

That's a good idea. But don't forget I did try the website that published it and found nothing there.

I blew up the posted image to 200% and still couldn't read most of it. If it's there, It's not so easy to find. I also tried some other sites that came up on Google. I NEVER go to one source, ever. This post was edited by NYAD at July 3, 2023 1:53 PM MDT

I tried to find it and couldn't.  That's why I asked for the link.  The larger you make the graphic, the more blurred it becomes.

I just gave you a link to another one also Rasmussen 55% says cheating involved in 2020.

The one I posted was tweeted by them on May 3rd.  Survey of 1050 likely voters from April 27 -May 2 2023.
I think it is behind a pay wall on their site.

Rasmussen with its pro-GOP bias so extreme that even Fox News doesn’t consider it reliable.

Then why does RCP use them?

Reliability of polls is a whole different topic.  Almost no polls showed Trump winning in 2016. Polls are simply a snap shot at a time. Watching it over time normally gives a better picture.    Most pollsters will try to stay close to center on bias because they also want to be accurate when real numbers come out.

Then why are you harping on one poll by an extremely biased company like  Rasmussen?

It is not just one poll....they do this poll regularly and it is always over 50% believe there was cheating in 2020.
I do not agree they are "extremely biased"....they like almost all the others had Hillary winning in 2016.    Show me any other pollster even asking the question.

Only a right-biased operation like Rasmussen even considers the 2020 election still an issue almost three years after the fact.

The rest of the world has moved on. This post was edited by Stu Spelling Bee at July 4, 2023 7:27 PM MDT

Then they are the closest one to the people out there.  And it is an issue, with Rep voters,  we are 50% of the country.

All the poll means is that some percentage of the one thousand or so people they asked believe the lies.

Believe the truth but yes that is how a poll works.

Links to sites to which I have to subscribe to read an article are useless, but thanks for playing.  By the way, a poll of 1,000 voters is hardly definitive.

I agree polls of 1000 are too small but that about the size sample most of the national polls use (all of them not just Rasmussen)

That's why all the polls were wrong with the Clinton/Trump election. This post was edited by Spunky at July 5, 2023 6:37 PM MDT

I have giving this question great thought and I have figured out the 3 main reasons Trump will drop out.

#1 - He knows he can't win with just his base and that his base is shrinking.

#2 - He is lazy and he knows being president is a lot of work.

#3 - He knows he can drop out and still do the 2 things he loves doing best. Cause chaos and swindle people out of millions of dollars.

    Cheers!
