Do you think Trump is going to try the old Jeffrey Epstein defense at his trial?

One of the subjects in the Trump Caralson interview last night was Jeffrey Epstein. They talked about the possibility that Epstein was murdered in prison and the possibility of Trump facing the same fate if he was put in prison. I think they were just paving the way  for Trump to get home arrest instead of jail time.  I think Trump knows he will be sentenced to doing time and Trump knows that the best he can do is make that time as comfortable as can be in a place were the KFC runs free.     Depends on which trial. In Georgia home detention is only used pre-trial. If convicted, time is served in prison. If Trump keeps making certain posts, he may get a chance to see how home detention feels and whether he wants to pursue it in federal courts. In any case, Trump would not only have special protection in prison, I suspect he has more fans than non fans in the big house. He will be treated Iike a king.

    That said, I don't believe that if Epstein was murdered, that it was inmates who did it. They aren't the ones who needed him silenced.

    Personally, I think Epstien was murdered.  Too many powerful people in his client list.  Coincidentally,  NOT one single person has been charged from his client list.

    Trump in Carlson interview:  “I don’t know what Barr said about it either. I have no idea what he said. What did he say? He killed himself. Probably,” Mr Trump said, agreeing with the suggestion that Epstein died by suicide."  

    Seems pretty clear to me.

    I misread your post, sorry. I thought you said Trump did NOT believe it was a suicide.

    This is very interesting and certainly explains a lot of what's going on in the country today.  It also points up the serious failings in our education system today.  Perhaps if we had better K-12 education, there wouldn't be so many stupid adults.  Just a thought.  Thanks for sending this.

    Tucker brought it up saying Barr lied about the investigation.  

    Epstein did not commit suicide.  (My opinion...not Trump's by the way)
