I don't think I've ever had green salsa, so I have to choose red.

I'll choose wisely for me: Neither.

    I choose chocolate milk.

:)  I had to choose wisely, and I don't know the difference between the two salsas. ("Salsi"?  ha). I don't eat enough of either, let alone tacos ("taci"?) to know the difference.
But I strongly know I've loved chocolate milk since a young boy, so I wisely chose neither and went with chocolate milk.

Red. Green tomatoes are unripe. Bitterness belongs in beer, not salsa.

How about tomatillos? It's true they're usually picked early, for the green salsa. They get sweeter later on, while remaining green.

Red, if it doesn't have cilantro in it, I'm not fond of cilantro in any way shape or form, too bitter for me.  Oh, almost forgot, don't like hot sauce either or anything really spicy.

An easy one. Red. Green salsas usually contain cilantro, which tastes like dish soap to me. Cilantro has ruined many a good Mexican meal for me. This post was edited by Element 99 at January 3, 2024 5:43 AM MST

Colour blindness that doesn't allow one to distinguish between red and green.

It's a fairly common trait; affects about 1 in 12 men. So I'm surprised nobody here brought that up.

Red.  The tomato chunks are my favorite thing about it.

    Hola, Randy:

You might as well have asked us to decide between chicken or beef, cause the chilis you describe are entirely different foods.

Chili verde is a rich stew based on pork shoulder, with onions, tomatillos, poblano and jalapeno chillis..  It should be eaten as an entre, or poured over eggs for a delicious juevos rancheros..

    Red chili is NOT that.
