Do you believe in miracles?

If you said, "No," think about this:

First, the two seats next to the door plug that blew out on the Alaska Airlines plane were unoccupied at a time when most planes are jam packed.  Second, an iPhone fell 16,000 feet from that plane and the screen remained intact.  Need more proof?

It's the "extra stuff" that changes the taste.

I don't believe in miracles. There's probably a scientific reason for it not breaking, based on the angle it hit the ground or something slowing its descent, or some other factor.

No miracles at all? Not even one?

Maybe I'd believe it was a miracle if [politician of choice] had been sitting there!

Someday, my dream will come true . . .

. . . I have to believe in miracles! (Apparently, they’re my only hope and my last resort. Grrrrrrrrr.)

I’ve convinced the judge to release you into my personal custody for er um, “rehabilitation”. (Cough, cough.) Pack something frilly, something slinky, and something dainty. This could take an extended period of time.

Perhaps you’re hinting that you’d prefer to be quartered in one of the private rooms on the upper floors?

The basement is foreboding and disturbing in appearance, makes me a little hesitant as to what might be "upstairs." This post was edited by Art Lover at January 22, 2024 12:56 PM MST
