Congress authorized aid to Israel recently. Biden is pausing it for his own political interests (pro-Palestine voters).....exact same thing his tweet was talking about. Just change the names.
It is the same thing. Biden is withholding aid authorized by Congress. It was authorized after Israel responded to Hamas. Biden is withholding it because supporting Israel is costing is hurting his poll numbers. Israel has every right to defeat Hamas. They give more warnings to civilians than any other country in the world. And if the Gaza people want piece all they have to do is be peaceful and agree that Israel has a right to exist.
It is....the Gaza people want peace...they simply need to be peaceful.
There is a reason the other Muslim countries are not offering to take them into their countries....they are violent and/or support the violence by Hamas. Egypt sure doesn't want them.
Let's see. Trump wanted to withhold aid to Ukraine unless they provided dirt on his political opponent. Biden paused a shipment of heavy bombs (not all aid) to Israel because they wouldn't commit to not invading a city where a million Palestinian civilians have taken refuge and where the bombs likely would be used. A political favor versus a humanitarian concern. I understand that MAGA sees Biden's move as an attempt to buy votes and that says more about them than about Biden. True, Biden may not have followed procedure, but he's not the first president to withhold weapons. Those who opposed convicting Trump are in no position to point fingers.

Rafah has become the last refugee in Gaza for over a million civilians who have been displaced multiple times. I believe it's possible for most politicians to do what is right and draw the line at enabling war crimes, including the failure of Israel to warn civilians and attacking non-military targets, regardless of whether it hurts them or helps them politically - this move could do either or both for Biden. Trump is 100% transactional and his supporters seem to think that is normal.
Israel warns them. They drop pamphlets, they announce they are coming. HAMAS uses hospitals and schools etc as military locations. So yet again, it is the people there causing their own heartache through their support of HAMAS. HAMAS to this day has hostages from their Oct 7th attack. Some of those hostages are Americans. The only mistake BiBi is making is waiting so long to finish the job.
