If planning to apply for a line of credit or mortgage it is good to keep a nice balance available for them to see.

    Wait...you're moving from NYC?

Finally, I am.  The perfect house became available near my youngest sister in PA and I grabbed it.  55+ community, 3 bedroom, 2 bath, laundry room dining, room, living room, porch, back patio, garden and a pond with 5 little frogs.  Move in condition other than painting because I don't care for mint green in some rooms.  Hope to be moving by the end of July.   I've had my fill of NYC.

EDIT: Forgot the garage and a shed. This post was edited by Spunky at June 28, 2024 9:22 AM MDT

Mama, may I have Spunky’s old room when she moves out?

Thank you.  I'm looking forward to living somewhere quiet.  My neighborhood is out of control.  I can't wait to have my morning coffee while sitting in a rocking chair on my porch!

No HOA I hope. Those things should be illegal.

They do have an HOA, but I got the rules before I went to contract and I didn't find anything objectionable - not any more so than the rules my co-op has in place. This post was edited by Spunky at June 29, 2024 9:07 PM MDT

This is about me draining my 401k to buy all of that overly expensive sandwich-making equipment I’ve been ordering and having shipped to me first-class, isn’t it? I have told you time and time again that I do NOT have a problem and that I do NOT need to go and seek professional psychiatric help. Grrrrrrrrrr.

(By the way, those first three credit cards I borrowed from you somehow got maxed out; would you mind loaning me another one, please? Thank you millions. Well, at least thousands.)
