Did you hear that Trump has vowed not to be nice?

At a recent rally Trump said - "If you don't mind, I'm not going to be nice, is that OK?" Then he added - "I was supposed to be nice, (referring to his brief call for national unity after the July 13 shooting). But circumstances have changed”.

Things have changed – and they will keep changing every time Trump opens his – not nice mouth. I think lots of people are starting to see that the only thing Trump has is – not nice. And I think people are sick of it and they will be looking for something nice. Cheers!

That's one promise he will most likely keep. This post was edited by Jane S at August 2, 2024 11:55 PM MDT

After the shooting I thought Trump would see the light and fight for truth justice and the American way – then a monkey flew out my butt. And I knew he would be back to his not nice ways within 24 hours. Cheers!

Maybe it's because the FBI director testified to Congress that it wasn't clear whether Trump was hit by a bullet or by shrapnel. Shrapnel doesn't change a man like a bullet would.

I didn't say anything at the time, but I did wonder why Trump initially slapped at his ear like it was a mosquito bite, if as he said, his ear was pierced by a bullet. And why he wore a maxi-pad on his ear at the convention, when now all he has is a band-aid on the top. I am not speculating or doubting him,  just saying what I noticed. No medical records have been released, so there are no facts to clarify what kind of wound it was. This post was edited by Jane S at July 25, 2024 1:52 PM MDT

It was doctor Ronny Jackson that looked at Trump’s ear after the shooting . That's the same doctor that said Trump only weighed 185 pounds so I don’t take his medical word on anything. Cheers!

    He said Trump weighted 240 or 250 pnds....not 185....

    A 6ft man at 185 would a scrawny thing.

My son is 6'1" and well under 200. Difference between fit and fat.

Thomas Hearns is also 6'1" and won his first world championship at welterweight - the limit is 147. He never hit the ring above light heavyweight, that limit is 175. Gonna call him "scrawny"? He was carrying a  lot of lard at that weight too - his best was at middleweight with a limit of 160. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at August 2, 2024 11:43 PM MDT

Yes, I do consider it scrawny.  To be that hight and that weight , you are gonna be scrawny.  Either a fit muscular scrawny or flabby weak scrawny.

You may prefer the for the fit one to be something like "lean and mean." But scrawny and lean are synonyms. Most people are not pro boxers. Muscle weights more than fat.

You're unbelievable, you know that? Because your crush is morbidly obese, you decide that everyone who is in MUCH better shape is "scrawny".

    Scrawny = Lean.
Normal people have fat on their body not just bone and muscle.

I am not the one who claimed Trump was under 200#...I in fact said there was no way.     I am about policy. I would not touch Trumpr or any other politican....

Why would he be nice when they are still calling him a threat to democracy and Hilter etc?

I guess that Trump would not be called nice no more, I would predict Trump would now be on the bad side!

Hardly a "vow", more an observation, like the Sun rising in the East tomorrow. His Royal Orangeness isn't capable of being nice.
