Do you think the events on Jan 1st are connected?

The terrorist who ran over people in New Orleans  and the Telsa truck explosion in front of Trump hotel in CA.

Both used same app to rent their trucks, Turo.

And supposedly both men served at the same military base in Afghanistan.

LA bomber was recruiting ex military for Ukraine.   Just like the would Trump assassine Routh at the  golf course, who repeatedly visited Ft Bragg over 100 times. The same base these two served at....

I think there might be connected and I think the connection might be Donald J Trump. Trump has spent the last 8 years filling peoples hearts with fear and hatred. And sometimes that fear and hatred is let lose. Cheers!

New Orleans is a Muslim terrorist.
We do not know about the LA cybertruck bomber yet....but we do know he was a Ukraine recruiter.

But yes, leftists do hate Trump. This post was edited by my2cents at January 2, 2025 12:09 PM MST

There are leftists that hate Trump but it is mostly because of the things he say’s and does. But the MAGA’s that hate leftist - do so because Trump tells them to hate leftist on a daily basis. Even Trump’s Christmas messages are filled with hate. Cheers!

But it is not the MAGAs driving over people, blowing up trucks or attempting to shoot Presidents.

I hate no one. This post was edited by my2cents at January 2, 2025 2:48 PM MST

No, , as with every group there are some idiots.

And the group on Jan 6, was not all MAGA.  This has been proven over and over again.

What do you mean the Vegas bomber was a Ukraine recruiter?  Investigators identified the Tesla driver as active-duty Army Green Beret Matthew Livelsberger, who was on leave from his base in Germany. Still searching for a motive, they said there’s currently no information that definitively reveals his ideology.

I Googled Ukrainian recruiter and found nothing to support the “we know” - we don’t know that. I figure it is just propaganda put out by the Trump team and right wing media to make the Ukraine look bad and pave the way for Trump to cut off all support for Ukraine (we have Ukrainian recruiting terrorist living in our mist) sort of thing. Cheers!

Well hold on to your socks because this might really shock you.

Sour Grapes might be the reason Trump would hold back allocated funds to Ukraine and drop US aid to the Ukraine. Because he is still sore that Zelenskyy wouldn’t dig up dirt on the Biden’s. Sour grapes might also be the reason behind Trump’s one sided peace agreement plan. Basically Russian keeps the Ukraine land they took by force and there will be no joining NATO for the next 20 years. Cheers!

Nope I won’t say that because I believe it to be true. I also believe that sour grapes might be behind Trump’s insults on Canada’s Prime minister (because Trump’s wife made the googly eyes at him when they met). Cheers and happy weekend!

Trump's "peace deal" mirrors that of Chamberlain when he let Hitler have Sudetenland in Czechoslovakia in 1938. How did that work out?

I think you misunderstand what you read.  By your own admission, he's not an official recruiter.  There's a big difference between supporting Ukraine and RECRUITING soldiers to fight there.  The link you provided says that he RECOMMENDED a friend for a very specialized job listed on LinkedIn.  That is not the same as recruiting that person.

He wrote: “I’ve got a top 18D [Special Forces medical sergeant] recently ETSd who is looking for just this opportunity, sent him your way.”

I did not say he was an official recruiter.  I said he was like Routh (would be assassine at the golf course) A strong Ukraine supporter recruiting people to fight for Ukraine.   Routh was all not an official recruiter either.

Where did I say he was an "official Ukraine recruiter"?

I posted where Yahoo News also showed where he was big Ukraine supporter and linking people to fight for Urkaine (recruiting)

And the tweet with the screenshots.

Yes, he was definitely a recruiter. Nick Sortor says so on the net, and he's got a direct line to both the NRA and jesus.

Not impossible,  but not very likely. There is a theory call six degrees of separation which tends to come into play in these situations. For example,  since Fort Liberty is the largest military base in the US, with 50K or more active service members at any given time, it is hardly remarkable that both men served there.

In NOLA: The FBI said it now believes Army veteran Shamsud-Din Jabbar acted alone when he drove a truck into a crowd, that he declared support for ISIS right before the attack and that he’d supposedly joined the terrorist group earlier last year. [Yahoo News]

In Vegas: Investigators identified the Tesla driver as active-duty Army Green Beret Matthew Livelsberger, who was on leave from his base in Germany. Still searching for a motive, they said there’s currently no information that definitively reveals his ideology. [CNN]

This was posted this morning.  The story changes daily.  I am, however, surprised that the Vegas attack was perpetrated by an active duty soldier on leave.

    UPDATE:

"LAS VEGAS (AP) — The highly decorated Army soldier inside a Tesla Cybertruck packed with fireworks that exploded outside Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas shot himself in the head just before detonation, authorities said Thursday." (MSN)
