Yes, the legal part... is not always so clear, hehe.

Massive difference between socialism and communism, though. Funnier still how much the former scares people.

Not so sure why so many folks are afraid of socialism since most all of us have benefited from it in some fashion.

    Public Education
Labor unions advocate for workers’ rights and protections, such as fair wages, benefits, and safe working conditions
    Public works projects
Taxation and social welfare (Medicaid, food stamps, unemployment benefits, etc.)
    The affordable Care Act
Government investment in public infrastructure (the interstate highway system)
Public utilities and services (water, sanitation, electricity)
Government research funding and scientific advancements
    Social Security, Medicare

But hey, let's do away with anything that benefits people because it costs too much.

Right now the Trump administration is in the process of dissolving the US education department – that wouldn’t happen with socialism because they know the value of education. And they also know the value off Human Capital – Trump doesn't.

So I made up a free 2028 campaign slogan for Bernie.

Socialism socialism - rah rah rah.

If Trump can’t do it – Berrnie can.

    Cheers!

I see my post stating that just because Trump calls him a Communist does not make him one, seems to have disappeared. Apparently my suggestion that using a dictionary to learn what a Communist is somehow violated the TOS. I do sincerely apologize to you, if you considered that a personal attack. Those of us, including Trump, who lived through the Cold War, know what Communism is, and Bernie Sanders is not a Communist. This post was edited by Jane S at March 6, 2025 1:10 PM MST

For those with less time, here's an excerpt that should make it clear who the Trump government is for.

Yep, up there with Hitler's 1927 Nuremberg speech.

I can think of a million things I'd rather do. Like cleaning all the bathrooms in Grand Central Station with my tongue (thanks, Weird Al).
