Great question. I can be quick to criticize the overall mentality in Antwerp (Belgium), but it has its historic charm and cultural diversity.
There's a Gothic cathedral, a 9th-century castle, the home of Peter Paul Rubens (Baroque painter), and apparently the only museum on UNESCO's World Heritage List — Plantin-Moretus, 16th-century printers.
As a very young boy, my memories of playing outside with my brother and sister and friends. Especially flying kites on a big open hill across the street and we could see entire small town on top of hill.

Lots of family in town. I had about 20 first cousin's that lived in town and also knew about 10 second cousins as well. Most of us were within 4 yrs age difference.
I've lived in the suburbs of Adelaide for 35 years. I like the slower pace of life and the fact that almost everything is cheaper than in Sydney. The trouble with the rat race is that even if you win, you're still a rat.
