    For what it's worth, I prefer Outlook (Hotmail's rebranding) to Gmail. Have you been having any grrrrrreat issues with it?

    I have a hotmail account and it works fine, however, a few years ago my new messages started going straight to the delete folder.  So I simply use the delete folder like I would use the inbox.  It's not my main email so it's no big deal for me.  Not even worth trying to contact someone at Microsoft for help.  I can imagine the nightmare.
