Got a “I told you so” to put in the bank for future use?

The White House said any suggestion that Trump is considering a 90-day pause on tariffs is fake news.

I think Trump will put a 90-day pause on tariffs. That way he can save face but still keep his – do as I say or I will tariff you powers.

So when that day comes (probably in less then 2 weeks) – I will be here saying – I told you so.

Cheers!

Today at the WH Trump met with Nayib Bukel the president of El Salvador. Bukel told Trump that he is not going to return Kilmar Abrego Garciato to the US and Trump seems fine about it.
Seems a bit fishy to me. Trump can now say – it is out of his hands and EL Salvador might be exempt from tariffs in the near future. And if that happens I will be back here to say – I told you so. Cheers!

That's ACTUALLY contempt of court and anybody else would already be in prison for it.

During the WH meeting Trump and the president of El Salvador both said that Kilmar Abrego Garciato was a terrorist.
There is no proof of that so I hope that Kilmar’s family sue Trump. Cheers!

There is proof he is a gang member and that gang is now recognized as a terrorist group.  He is indeed a terrorist.

I remember when Trump was in a felony trial – it was innocent until proven guilty. But now Trump say’s someone is a terrorist with no proof or trial and that person is automatically guilty.

Two separate courts have ruled that he is a gang member.  And during his immigration court, he asked for protection from deportation because he life would be endanger from a rival GANG. You cannot have a rival gang unless you are a gang member.   And the rival gang no longer exists.   But his gang does....so he is a member of a terrorist gang as ruled by 2 separate courts.  He had his day in court and he was found guilty of being a gang member.

Which two courts ruled that he is a gang member?

Ask yourself this question:  If he is a gang member and has been adjudged guilty of something, why has the Trump administration ADMITTED that they wrongfully sent him to El Salvador?

Two courts in Maryland from a case in 2019. The one ruled it and the 2nd upheld it.
There was an order not to deport to El Salavador  because of the possibility of rival gang retaliation. Garcia is a member of MS-13.  (That rival gang no long exists) So they should have been sent him to a detention center in either Mexico, Nicaragua or Egypt.   If they want to send him to one of those...I don't care other than wasted tax money. If you honestly believe that, I got this bridge in San Francisco I can offer you at a bargain price. Courts keep records, Garcia has none. His rap sheet is clean as a whistle. Unlike His Royal Orangeness, Garcia had
    No trial
    No evidence
    No due process
No criminal convictions of any kind

ICE has already admitted that he was deported due to AN ADMINISTRATIVE ERROR. That means it was a mistake. SCOTUS has ordered that he be returned to the US as a matter of priority, so Trump and the DOJ are absolutely in contempt and anybody else would already be in prison for it.

No Due Process? 2 separate courts ruled he is an active gang member (that means there was more than on trial)
His wife had a protective order against him for his violence against her.
An immigration court (another trial) denied asylum. But did order protection from deportation (to El Salavador) because of fear of RIVAL GANG retaliation.   (This is him admitting to being a MS-13 gang member) He filed for asylum while in the jail from the other court.

So 3 courts...established that he is a active member of a violent terrorist gang. And that he is an illegal alien.  So he belongs deported to the El Salavador prison for the gang members.  (He was sent back to his home) which is legal under the Alien Enemies Act. Which was just upheld by SCOTUS.  And Justice Kegan just denied deportation appeals to 4 illegals under her section.

Just being in the country illegally is a criminal deportable act.

The clerical error was not the deportation itself but just in where he was deported to.  He did have a order not to return to El Salavador.  (RIVAL gang was there...However that gang no longer exists)  He was still supposed to be deported but sent to a detention center in either,  Mexico, Egypt or Nicaragua.    Personally,  I don't care as long as he does not set foot back in the US. We have enough criminals and gangs members here already. This post was edited by my2cents at April 18, 2025 10:16 AM MDT

"Xinis questioned the evidence an immigration judge used to determine that Abrego Garcia is a gang member. She said in a ruling that he has no criminal record in the United States or El Salvador and that the “‘evidence’ against Abrego Garcia consisted only of his Chicago Bulls hat and hoodie, and a vague, uncorroborated allegation from a confidential informant claiming he belonged to MS-13’s ‘Western’ clique in New York — a place he has never lived.”

As far as the temporary restrining order:

“After surviving domestic violence in a previous relationship, I acted out of caution after a disagreement with Kilmar by seeking a civil protective order in case things escalated,” Vasquez Sura said in a statement Wednesday. “Things did not escalate, and I decided not to follow through with the civil court process."

Department of Homeland Security posted on social media earlier Wednesday that Abrego Garcia’s wife had sought a temporary protective order against him in 2021. The case was ultimately dismissed.

To get the ruling saying he should not be deported to El Salavador....HE had to admit to being a member of MS-13.   The IMMIGRATION judge ruled he was and would be in danger if send there.  That rival gang no longer exists.  But MS-13 does. And it is a terrorist gang.

Why doesn't the leftist media ever pick a hero to defend who is not a thug?

Why can't you accept that virtually every article about this guy says he has NO CRIMINAL RECORD EITHER IN EL SALVADOR OR HERE?

I don't even know why I bother to respond to you.  You wouldn't accept any discussion unless it comported with YOUR opinion.  I'm done.

He is a illegal. He entered the country ILLEGALLY that alone it a crime.

THREE separate judges agreed that he is an active member of MS-13.   His wife filed abuse charges against him.

Just entering the country illegally and then beating his wife is enough for me to give him a boot in the a$$ out of the country.  Good riddance... This post was edited by my2cents at April 18, 2025 2:19 PM MDT

This is exactly why I don’t waste more than a few words on some MAGA diehards. On one hand they're saying someone should be out of the country and in prison for being a gang member and a wife beater, but they have no problem electing as President, a guy who bragged about sexual assault, cheated on his pregnant wife, was found liable for sexual abuse, amongst a myriad of other similar accusations.  It isn't just hypocrisy - it’s full-blown, laughable delusion.

Mahmoud Khalil? In the US legally (valid green card holder) with a pregnant US citizen wife, was hauled off to pokey for taking part in a PEACEFUL protest that His Royal Orangeness happened to disagree with.

So terrorists are only punished if they're not white and on Trump's side, is that it? He released a WHOLE BUNCH of white terrorists who tried to overthrow a democratically elected government (that's not new for the US, they did that in Iran in the 1950s, but there's no oil in DC). The Proud Boys are unashamedly neo-Nazis, they make no secret of it - so they defile the memory of the brave US servicemen who died in France just by existing.

They weren’t terrorists, they were patriots just "testing" Capitol security. Heck, one of them even put on a buffalo costume to see if animals could get past the guards.

A President of another country is NOT under the US courts jurisdiction.  So they cannot charge contempt of court.

The "Maryland Father" is not from Maryland. He is from El Salavador. He is an illegal alien who crossed into the US illegally.
He is a wife beater. He is a admitted gang member. He is a proven gang member in US courts more than once.  And the gang he is a member of is now a recognized terrorist group.

This person belongs in that prison. And never should be allowed to step foot into the US ever again. This post was edited by my2cents at April 17, 2025 5:04 AM MDT

They are not charging Bukele with contempt, they're charging Trump with contempt of court.  If this guy was guilty of all these things, why wasn't he in jail here in the states?

Today Trump talked about his WH meeting with the El Salvador president and said - "We came to a big, beautiful deal that makes our country better — and safer," I have graciously agreed to let the vicious MS-13 gang member come back to the United States in return for my good friend, President Bukele, promising to keep Senator Cory Booker in El Salvador. It's a win for both countries, I must say. One country gets rid of an evil, psychotic nutjob, and the other country gets rid of an MS-13 gang member. It's a tremendous deal."

    Cheers!

Thought I should add that well Trump was talking about El Salvador keeping Senator Cory Booker - Senator Cory Booker was in El Salvador or he was planing on going to El Salvador.

A wink is as good as a nod to a blind man or a dictator. Cheers!
