Could Trump still do his YMCA dance if he becomes the Pope?

Lately Trump has been “joking” that he would like to be the Pope. And today he posted an image on Truth Social of him as Pope. I bet the catholic church found it disturbing. And I had a laugh imaging Trump as a YMCA dancing Pope. Cheers and happy weekend!

You' simply wouldn't expect this from an elected leader of a country. Doing this publicly just demonstrates his complete lack of class and judgement.

Having said that, when Trump eventually dies, I'll be posting similar disrespectful attempts at comedy.

Thought I would add that Trump didn’t just post the pope meme on Truth Social – it was also posted on the official WH website. I think that makes it even worse. Cheers!

I'm not Catholic but I was raised that way. I'm certain that my mother is revolving in her grave. It was both tasteless and callous, particularly in the immediate aftermath of the funeral of the first Pope in a long time to take the oath of poverty seriously, he passed with less than $100 to his name.
Francis never lived in the Papal palace, but in the far more modest guest apartments. And even before he was elected Pope,  as Cardinal Archbishop of Buenos Aires he shunned the See and lived in an austere apartment in downtown BA.

As if we weren't already offended enough by him making a show of chewing gum and texting while seated in the front row at the funeral, standing on the carpet under the casket after being told not to step on it since it was considered holy, and then rushing off so he could get back to his golf game. He was sending a message of deliberate disrespect then, so the AI depiction is just a continuation. Trump probably wants to emphasize that he is more important than a mere pope.

When Trump visited the Queen he had his helicopter land on the front law – even though he was told that it could damage the law - so use the helicopter pad in the back. But Trump had to make a grand entrance. Well he was there he also sat in a chair that was roped off and had a sign that said Please Don’t Sit In Chair. And lets not forget that he shoved a diplomat out of the way so he could get into a photo op. Trump has no class or respect. Cheers!

Some of his supporters seem to think that his more bizarre actions and statements are just a masterful way to control the media. Apparently he is trying to divert attention from topics that are not good for him or to keep focus on subjects he thinks are winners. Personally, I don't think it's working for him all that well. Both corporate media and independent media have no issue with reporting both the ridiculous and the relevant.

Of course he could still do his dance.

I don’t know about that - that pointy Pope hat would probably keep falling off whenever he did the dance. Cheers!

Nah, he doesn't really move his head when he does the dance so no problem there. Lol

Trump is now claiming that he had nothing to do with posting the Pope photo on his Truth Social account – Catholics loved the photo and Melania thought it looked cute. Cheers!

When anything he does goes "sour" he (desperately) tries to distance himself from it.  he thrives on attention.
