Do you think Trump just started a forever war - that he promised not to start?

I think he did and he just made the world a lot less safe. Cheers!

I think Trump has a highly inflated sense of his negotiating abilities.  Makes me wonder if we would be in this position had Trump not pulled us out of the nuclear treaty.  I guess time will tell how far this goes.

I don’t think we would be were we are today if Trump had kept the agreement Now Trump is milking the bombing for all it is worth – so it reminded me of this song. Cheers!

According to our brilliant and insightful VP JD Vance, we are not at war in Iran and Mario Rubio backed him up. Vance also said this is different because before we had dumb presidents and now we have Trump.

So, I guess that there won't be any reason to worry about terrorism or other retaliation from Iran. I wonder why the foreign minister of Iran is on his way to meet with Putin. Probably to discuss what a great negotiator Trump is.

We have nothing to worry about.
As our nation girds for possible Iranian terrorist attacks, this is the person Trump put in charge of terrorism prevention.

22 years old. Recent work experience: landscaping/grocery clerk.
Never worked a day in counter-terrorism. But he’s a BIG Trump fan. So he got the job.

The person responsible for vetting WH personnel was born in Russia, was never vetted himself and is possibly a Russian spy. So, yes, we'll be just fine.

There is an old TV series called “the Americans”. It is about Russian agents living in America – waiting for the opportunity to strike from within.

It is scary thinking about what horrors could soon be happening because of Trump. Cheers

I am supremely confident that we will be just fine.  Ilm just wondering if he's learned to tie his shoelaces yet.

Trump has made cuts to a lot of agencies and health care. And if there are big acts of terrorism or a bunch of small ones - America might not have to resources to help people. Cheers!

Depends on. how Iran etc respond.
But in any case, it will not be a forever war because Trump.will not tie our troops hands. He will tell them to do what it takes to win.

I actually believe this stops a war.  This puts to rest the question of how close is Iran to a nuke. And removes Israel's need to stop them, which would likely have provoked the rest of the Arab world.

IF Trump changes and says we are going to force regime change then it will likely be another forever war. But that is not what he is pushing.

He is doing exactly what he has always said he supported,   Israel and Iran cannot ever have a nuke.

I did see that last night.  I hope the warmongers are not in his ear.
If he goes that route it will be a promise broken.

And after Trump gives them his - do what it takes to win pep talk they can call their loved ones and say put a steak on the barbie I’ll be home for supper – unless Pete Hegseth Signals out the attack plans. Cheers!

There were absolutely no leaks.  At all. That is a feat in itself for any administration.

    THIS IS HOW IRAN RESPONDS:

    • Iran has launched missiles at a US airbase in Qatar in response to strikes on its nuclear sites on Saturday

    • Qatar confirms the attack on the US-run Al Udeid base, calling it a "flagrant violation" and says it reserves the right to respond directly - it adds all the missiles were intercepted and there are no reports of casualties

    • The country has temporarily closed its airspace and US and UK citizens have been advised to shelter in place

    • In Washington, Donald Trump and defence officials are holding a Situation Room meeting, two days after the US launched massive strikes against three nuclear facilities inside Iran

    • It comes as Israel it has been targeting Tehran with "unprecedented force", including attacks on "access routes" to the Fordo nuclear site and Evin prison

Russia said that multiple countries are ready to directly supply Iran with nuclear warheads as a result of the U.S. strikes on key Iranian nuclear sites. So this thing is escalating fast.

Meanwhile in other news the WH said Kilmar Ábrego García will never go free on American soil, even though a judge ordered his release. Cheers!

Well, Trump always needs some sort of diversion from what's really important.

He is illegal, he should not be released on US soil.  Canada can have him.

The missiles were all intercepted.....  they hit nothing.

I am fine with Israel hitting whatever they want. Or Qatar for that matter.   Iran cannot have a nuke.
