What was the most recent horrible food you tasted that was so bad it tasted like plastic?

What have we told you about chewing on your credit card?!

Barbecued sweetcorn.
PB doesn't taste like plastic, it tastes like the contents of an infant's diaper, which it also resembles.

French fries and beans at a British woman's house. She was a lovely hostess during our school trip, but one of the kids thought dinner tasted better drenched in Dr Pepper.

BBQ pizza at Disneyland.    Nasty.  Sauce tasted like ketchup with hot sauce. No, it did not taste like plastic at all. Plastic would have been better.  This post was edited by my2cents at January 31, 2026 11:33 AM MST

I've tried to avoid eating plastic in my life, so I'm unsure if I've eaten other foods that may have tasted like it.
