Oh Dear No Flo...such a poignant answer...(sniff) there was somebody else I really thought a lot of who used to love pizza...oh the memories! (sniff, sniff)
Probably the best fresh organic garden salad that she ever had and maybe some BC smoked salmon. I used to be the head gardener for a cousin to the Queen of England so the Queen and I would have something in common to talk about during lunch. The cousin was Veronica Millnor and she had an estate on Vancouver Island - when she died she left it to the University of British Columbia - I always thought that was a cool thing for her to do. Cheers!
And those "six degrees of separation" come into play. You may have enough contacts to get me invited to a tea party at Buckingham Palace. I wonder if they serve coffee there?
Maybe if I call in a favor from Prince Philip I could get you invited for tea at the Palace. Once I brought a tree that he planted back to life and maybe if Mrs. Millner told him about it he has a special place in his heart for me. I also have a photo of me wearing one of his hats (think it's called a Tant) the Tant has his family or Klan color on it so if you flash it at the gate they might think your kin and let you in. I include a web address to Millner gardens it's a good example of the things that can grow in this area. Cheers!
Well actually I'd rather go to her house but if she did come to my house I have heard that she likes a gin and tonic and some Dubonnet. I'd serve salmon and those little new spuds with butter.
I would have to offer her my famous bacon-lettuce-tomato sandwich. Garden fresh heirloom tomatoes make a flavor difference. Poor woman would go back home and curse her country for it's lack of big, flavor packed heirloom orbs. I was reviewing some English seed catalogs and not seeing much in the tomato dept., probably because of a relatively short growing season.
