  • I've cut up a few pineapples. Takes a little time to remove the outer skin. I haven't had any problems that I recall. (Most of my pineapple comes in tins.)

Well sometimes language varies according to a region one resides in,...till I started living in US...gas meant cooking gas and just lift...no elevator;))

I just buy a can of pineapple. Why risk cutting a finger off?

No problem; but I don't do it diagonal as in the pic.

Tins/Cans have too much sugary syrup permeating the fruit for my liking.

My wrist hasn't completely healed from surgery so I have a hard time cutting anything. My sister has a thingy that you bore into the pineapple. It cores it and slices it. Works great.
