Prez Trump is accusing Obama of tapping his phone, and claims it's sick and talks about the "very sacred election process" - is this irony?

How come Strumpet wasn't so bothered about his Ruskie pals interfering when they hacked Clinton's office, which led to her being very publicly investigated? He just said, oh yea they probably did.. hmm double standards or what?

I seem to recall too that Trumpet said Hilary deserved whatever she got cos she shouldn't have been so stupid as to allow herself to be hacked... so how come when the shoe's on the other foot he isn't blaming himself for letting someone hack his phone calls?

If he was involved with the Russians....we need to know definitively.  If he wasn't, we also need to know definitively.  An outside investigation is required, as well as a free factual unspun unhampered press.

IMHO...I believe in a circumstance such as this, that the President's actions be suspended, no work be taken on any orders, etc. until he is cleared of anything that could smack of treason. Unless the Vice President is implicated he should manage the day-to-day affairs of the nation, but not be empowered to make any executive orders implementing any new policies. But to move forward with any presidential policy changes with a president who has this air of treason/sedition about him and his cabinet is just folly.

  • A voice of reason. I agree. Personally I think Trump has, even in this short time done many questionable things that are bad for America, all should be investigated.

And, if he is proven to be as innocent as he claims, then we need to leave off about it and move on.  But we do need to know, one way or the other.

  • LOL yes, of course we should move on if he is innocent.. but there's a whole slew of other very questionable things he's said and done, his unprofessional behaviour, unprofessionalism, and not to mention his totally abhorrent behaviour :P

Oh and the fact that I believe he is totally irresponsible and will cause worldwide harm re his stance on climate change and the environment..and so on and so on.. I think you can tell... I don't much like him

What gets me is last week Trump was saying that the phony  media should have to post their source but he hasn't posted his souses. Also he said a good lawyer could probably make a case about it - a good lawyer could make a case about anything as long as you pay them enough. And I'm wondering if he does get a lawyer who pays for it - Trump or tax payers. Cheers!

Seeing as this is over things done prior to his election and inauguration....shouldn't he have to foot the bill and not us? This post was edited by Sugar Skull at March 5, 2017 2:25 PM MST

If Obama and his people did tap Trump then it does need to be investigated.
But I really think it is him deflecting to take the attention off of him. But that is not working.

To me it is so basic.  If you are going to point fingers, you better be transparent in your own life.

This Obama-tapping-Trump's-phones is further evidence of Trump's mental derangement. In his idiotic way, he is trying to divert attention from his Russian connections - and the whole world sees right through him.

Be advised that there is a cabal of Trump lovers on this board who wish to be more silent and have less posts about Trump. With North Korea sabre-rattling, this country (and the world) badly needs a leader who is sane and capable, Trump is neither.

To the Trumpsters here - this is NOT the time to be silent. Evil wins when good people are silent.

Contrary to Trump's delusional rants, the POTUS can't actually order a wiretap. It takes a court to do that, and only if there is compelling evidence to indicate that a crime has been, or is about to be, committed.
It's quite possible, even likely, that a court has made such an order but Obama would have had absolutely nothing to do with it. It would be due to the investigation into racketeering at Trump U. His Royal Orangeness ducked a civil suit into the matter shortly after the election by throwing a bucket of money at it, but racketeering is a criminal matter so it's harder to make that go away.
He'll be impeached, bet your balls on it.
