Our family never used annoying words much --------------------except my father used 'damn' to curse when he dropped something on his toes. I was surprised to witness the grandchildren having trouble describing to me the local 'dam'. (where hydroelectric power is generated) They weren't allowed to say 'dam', so they called it the 'waterfall'.
LOL you know I recollect an incident...Ihad just learnt a new word...bas****.,,,,I came Home and during a quarrel with my brother I just blurted out that swear word......all hell broke loose....I WAS GIVEN A GOOD beating;((

I worked in the construction industry so it was a necessity to use certain words at times to get people motivated when normal language didn't do the trick. Then, it started to creep into my everyday language. So, it is a habit I haven't yet broken.
