  • Not as shocked as I was when I found out that Barry Manilow is gay

No I am afraid I wasn't shocked, whether I should have been is a different matter.

No. Shocking was the videos of the people, many of them children, suffering from a chemical attack.

Not really. It was only a matter of time.

  • Not really.   The arms dealers been running the shows for a long time.  It doesn't matter who the President is really.

  • For sure.   I am so sick of hearing about Syria. Let them handle it.

  • You were spot on with your first remark...The Military industrial complex has been itching to make some money.

This is a terrible thing to say, but when I heard about this, I was hoping a that a bunch of Russians got taken out at that airbase.  I'm getting tired of proxy wars

  • Seriously.  Russian,  US?   The international arms dealers are in it together.   There's no need for M4's and M-16's without the AK's and vice-versa.

  • Surprised yes. I find gets a large dichotomy here... On one jabs he says it's because of the days of the civilians and children... Yet he won't admit them as refugees.... I think he wanted to prove his toughness, no more, no less

I think that might true - be able to tell more when he starts tweeting about it like if he starts making it all about him and how he is the only President that had the guts to do it. Cheers and happy weekend!  This post was edited by Nanoose at April 7, 2017 3:56 PM MDT

Probably not but if they do decide to pay they owe 59 million so far (those missals cost a million bucks each). Could be a lot more if Trump includes interest like he did on the bill that he (allegedly) gave to the German president. Cheers and happy weekend!

Not at all. Trump doesn't mess around.

  • Mess around with what?   What value is the damn place to our interests?  There is no value or reason in getting involved.

He doesn't mess around, as in; he doesn't waste any time. It's a reaction to the chemical attack.

  • Was it on us?  Isn't gonna help stop it?

    NOPE!

Is it gonna escalate things and bring us into more war?

    YEP!

Trump finally grew some big ones. It also helps Toledo's economy...they are made here. It's also a wake-up call to pig-face in North Korea. This post was edited by Element 99 at April 7, 2017 8:11 PM MDT

    Not at all.

Martin Sheen as President Bartlett did the same thing in the TV series The West Wing years ago..

I believe even some of the dialogue we heard afterwards is out of the same episode.

Trump get's his intelligence information from TV, perhaps he is trying to get some idea about what presidents should do from the same venue.

Unfortunately, the dramatis personae of the current White House will never rise to the level of the actors in The West Wing.

No I was not in shock.
I figured Trump would get in a war somewhere to take the focus off of him.
We don't know that he didn't start this one.
