Since the triangle is located within the square, that would be akin to skipping the prelims and diving right in.  Some people are good with that...others, not so much.

I only like hugging anyone with whom I am intimate, anyone with whom I'm going to be intimate, or anyone with whom I've been intimate previously. If I'm that close to you and you're that close to me, our bodies all rubbed up against each other, separated by a few flimsy milimeters of cloth, boobs and nipples and chests and genitals and butts all a-tingling, I want to cop a feel, and I want to be felt on too, you know what I'm saying?  A hug means something to me, that's all I'm trying to get across!  By the way, that automatically excludes ALL men from the already short list of folks who I like hugging me.

There are some "serial huggers" at my workplace, you know, the people who not only simply have to hug you to say both hello and goodbye, they also assume that everyone else on the planet wants to hug and to be hugged. Of course, that would make me the jerk if I balk at it or try to politely excuse myself from the practice, but where do my rights begin in the hug/don't hug equation?  If I wouldn't be slapped with harassment charges, maybe I should pinch a butt or two to get myself blacklisted from the unwanted hug-fests, hmmm . . .

What you may be displaying here Judas is a form of person/computer hugging.  A form of hugging we all have experienced at one point or another.  Please tell me that is the ends of a Tall Johnnie Walker Black on the Rocks in your glass?!  It normally accompanies this type of exhausted hugging behavior.  Winks and Smiles !

  • They do not. I am notoriously huggable. I love hugs from family members and friends and I like when people are not afraid to give me a full-blown hug when it's called for :)

  • Not if it's genuine ... no .. the hug you miss out on is the one you never get .. I'm sure most problems could be helped with some genuine hugs

Yes, those awkward half-hugs where you try to avoid touching any part of your body are embarrassing. I'm not a hugger by nature, but there a few close friends and family that will get'give a full-on hug. Everyone else should just back off and extend their hand for a handshake.

Yeah, I know. I'll receive a hug anytime but if I want to initiate one, I usually ask the other person, "May I give you a hug?" or something like that (unless the other person and I have a history of agreeable hugging).

    :)

Being that I am a touchy-feely person anyway, hugging comes naturally.
There are people who give good hugs and people who tend to not know how to hug but want to.  There are those who don't like the gesture and I respect that too.   It depends on the situation, environment and person.  I always open the option.  Very rarely are they turned down. Giving and receiving are both enjoyable.
