Looking for something that would be acceptable for work. My problem is I wear size 18-20 top and size 12 pants.   Impossible to buy a complete outfit.

Assuming you are a woman, men don't understand women's sizes. Ours are so much simpler.

I agree: understanding the sizing ranges of women's clothing confuses me. For instance, how can zero be a size?

I like dull boring colours. Olive green is my favorite.

I'musually in jeans and a t-shirt. The color varies. My shoes are always bright pink. Unless in dress shoes then they are black.

Yes, I wear variations of both; my choices of clothing colors cover a copiously range of possibilities.

Hmm... I don't know that the concepts are mutually exclusive. I wear a lot of blue. Today I have on a pair of jeans and a shirt with swaths of navy, teal, and yellow on it. It kind of looks like a later Monet painting, but without any recognizable pattern or picture. I would consider it to be bright and happy, but it's not in a cut that would get me noticed. I also have a navy dress, with almost a handkerchief pattern on it. It's quite subdued, but I think the cut would be called an empire bust... kind of like the ancient Roman look where it's low-cut and form-fitting at the bust only, and then bells out. Despite the lack of color and the serous deep navy hue, the dress tends to attract attention. It's far from boring.

I wear solid color, dark slacks and colorful tops.  Some tops are patterned, some just bright solid colors.

Dull and boring, winter colours are the only ones that suit me. Unless I'm going to the footy, then I wear the MIGHTY Crows' colours whether they suit me or not. This post was edited by Slartibartfast at May 15, 2017 8:52 AM MDT

Football - the Australian kind. No padding, no helmets, extremely fast paced. Two hours of barely controlled mayhem.

  • I wouldn't call anything I wear "flashy", but I do like to wear bright colors sometimes. Today I wore a bright red V-neck T-shirt.
