Being obsessed with grammar is fine as long as corrections are not made too rudely. Being obsessed with Trump or being obsessed with anti-Trump hatred is infinitely more vexing.
Ahh but it's true. However, that's nnot to say that there aren't others who seem obsessed with thinking that i am obsessed with Trump.. I don't like him, I think he's vile and I rarely miss an opportunity to say so but in reality his abhorrent nature doesn't affect me that much.. On here it's just that there are rather a lot of questions about him so I answer a lot of questions about him.. simple. I occasionally post questions about him.. but if anyone looks the questions that aren't about him vastly outnumber the ones that are.. so again I am afraid the obsession is all in other's minds :P

The level of hatred of President Trump that a few AM users have is hard to understand for people who are more in the middle of the political spectrum who sometimes agree with President Trump but sometimes disagree with him. I thought the hatred of President Obama that I saw from some EP users was just as hard to understand.
A grammar obsession is a harmless obsession. A grammar obsession is pretty normal if you compare it to things that are really really important to one of my family members but not important to anyone else.
Trump's tenure as president is philosophically abhorrent to me---I fully expect him to fiddle while Rome burns. (Right now he's using both hands to start the fire or he would be fiddling now.)
People who emphasize grammar remind us of two things---how we say something may change what we intended to say, and there are certain right ways to do some things and that implies there are also some wrong ways to attempt to do the same. (Refer to my first comment and the election of Trump.)
Trump:/ I can't understand why anyone would want to post or talk about someone they hate for a better part of their day. Everyday ... And people think I'm Weird:/
Grammar obsession is not a problem unless you start punching people for incorrect usage. Hatred is never a good thing. The odd thing is that this hatred comes from media opinion (not news) and not personal experience. It screams a few things loudly and clearly about the hater.
Just to say, in the interests of trying to help, that my extreme dislike of Trump is based on personal experience, i see, I hear so it's based on him as a man, a person and the things he says and does.. he's vile and abhorrent. He behaves like a clueless idiot with no manners and more importantly, to me I guess, no class..
