This is God speaking. I didn't make the world, God did! We are separated from him because of sin. God is Holy and we are very sinful. Carazaa, I try to use logic in these situations, not relying on some irrelevant ancient verse. The fact is, people have a tendency to attribute events to a cause that may not even exist, all the time. It's called confirmation bias. It's well documented that people will seek out, notice and remember information that support a belief they already have far more often than they will for information that disproves their beliefs. This is just a bare fact about human nature. When you view things in light of this fact, all sorts of miracles and blessings and answered prayers lose their magic. I guess it comes down to not preferring to live in a fantastical world of magic, for me.

Honestly, you sound like some of Bible-repeating robot. Anyway, it's not MY understanding, it's acknowledgement of facts. Anyone with the same facts, using logic, should come to the same conclusion, including Jesus, Jehovah, Buddha, Krisna, Zeus, or any other god you could name.
Doesn't it worry you a little, that the book that is supposed to have all the answers, explicitly tells you NOT to use YOUR OWN MIND?
