What's the silliest thing you ever felt guilty about?

Once my step-father caught me peeing in the backyard.  I was mortified.

I was driving in my car with a friend on a highway going through a city.
In front of us, suddenly a van hit the center wall, swerved backwards in to the traffic again and started swerving in the wrong direction at me.
I looked to get out of the way, my friend looked behind us, too, and he said, "You're clear - - move over!"
I maneuvered rather well in the traffic and saw the van finally rest on the opposite side of road.
I pulled over in a safe place, stopped and asked my friend -- "Was that my fault?"

    :)

(Thankfully, everyone involved and close by was unhurt.)

  • Eating carbs .... I went through an obsession with giving up carbs for a while. But I love pizza so I would cheat, Then feel guilty.   Life's to short to feel guilty for having pizza, sometimes. Cos carbs and cheese are good.

  • Is it curious that unhealthy foods combine so well with each other?

  • True :/ Anyone who says " nothing tastes as good as being thin feels" has never had pizza. IMO :)

  • I never heard that quip. Inane.  But hooray for thin people!  It is just more pizza for us normal folk.  Fitness can be taken to far.  My workplace has employees who are "Employee Fitness Ambassadors"  God's wounds! Where does one come up with such crap?

You deserve some pizza.  My daughter claimed to be a vegetarian but about once a week we would discover that the leftover steak was missing or we'd find a hot dog with a bite taken out of it.  We all laugh about it now.

I feel guilty whenever I go somewhere that I techinically COULD bring my dogs, but don't. Half of the time I give in and take them, I feel so guilty.

    How nuts is that?

Things other people tried to lay on me to make me feel guilty for no reason.  Stuff like that we all endure.

I always feel that way whenever I commit a typo.

(Wait, you said it had to be something silly, right?  In that case, never mind, I'm good.)
