Why are Saudi Arabia and the US bullying Qatar?

Look at this map. Qatar is tiny compared to Saudi Arabia. Trump and Saudi Arabia say it's such a threat. Whaaaat?

    Again a long and complicated story... and much depends on viewpoint.. I say this in the spirit of expanding our viewpoints.. but when one country occupies another there are always very strong feelings, who is right and who is wrong is never really totally black and white and it will depend on one's loyalties.
