Does the brand of shoe matter to you?

am liking New Balance

Not really but where they're made is what's important.  All of my shoes and all of my other clothes are USA made.

I prefer Covers the Feet Without Falling Apart.

If it looks good, the brand is secondary.

Yes, because comfort is what I'm interested in.  I wore closed toe heels for so long that eventually I had tendonitis (plantar faciitis) and since then I have worn Birkenstocks.  Period.  When I'm down here in Florida I wear Birkenstock flip flops;; they have an arch.  So name matters because the brand works for me.  Thank goodness no one pays much attention to shoes here; we all wear flipflops whether they are the $140 ones or the $1 ones. 

Yes...anything under $30 at Walmart.
