Not really when you consider that more than 100 countries have elected female heads of state since 1940. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_elected_and_appointed_female_heads_of_state_and_government
I agree with Stu. I think I would question the worlds. 'world dominated..' as that isn't the case in many countries... Perhaps this is an opportunity to question why it is so, or thought to be so in some countries? We have a woman PM, I ain't saying she is any good but a) she wasn't chosen because she was a woman and b) her failings if there are so, are not because she is a woman..
No. Obama got elected. Hillary would have got elected if she weren't such a disgusting criminal piece of sh*t. Her failure had nothing to do with being female.
Women on average don't do well in politics because they are ON AVERAGE -
1) Less ambitious than men. Women have a sense that 50% of the power should be held by women because that is somehow fair. The real world is based on competition and it is natural order of things that the less competitive get out competed.
2) Too soft. Most women lack the necessary killer instinct (and most of the women that do have it are just too bitchy to be likable).
3) Too emotional. (The fact that many women get so upset and scream sexism when someone says this, simply proves the point. A rational person wouldn't get nearly so hot and bothered.)
4) Too leftist. For every Margaret Thatcher in the political arena there about about 100 clueless leftist lunatics.
