Yes, very much so. If there's a crowd you will often see me going in the opposite direction. And that's kind of how my life is.. However, there are times when I do physically follow the crowd - like if I am at an event and I need to get somewhere - I will often look and see where others are going and follow them.. why waste time working out where I am supposed to head when I could just follow them.. It *has* led me into trouble sometimes though!
"Following the crowd" questions are amusing because other than when using the general definition (ie: traffic jam) no one ever admits to it. Yet someone must be following the crowd or there wouldn't be one.
I don't always follow the crowd and I do try to think for myself because sometimes money is the root of all evil so I don't trust people's opinions or motives any time that money is involved. Sometimes money makes people group together to support whatever cause will bring them more money or allow them to continue to be ignorant to the problems of the world. They manipulate and enable each other and it's the only way that they can get what they want and feel good about themselves. People can be dangerous in groups so make sure your opinions are not solely based on other people's opinions and make sure you're not following blindly.
