Well there is a dark and a light side to old.

    LIGHT SIDE:

    1.  The ones that make it to this level can be WISE.  (not often enough and some who ARE wise, get hit with senility...life is not fair)

    2.  They make excellent baby-sitters.  They are lonely and humble and anyone who pays attention to them that is non-threatening, is welcome.

    3.  A lot of them have WILLS.

    Dark SIDE:

    1.  They are miserable and crotchety and blame everyone else for any slight or pain they may have to endure.

    2.  The poor ones are a real pain in the ass.  Nothing gained by taking care of them and they drain the wallet dry.

    3.  They have hardly any grey hair left.

Hi Veena!  It's a spinal disease.  Take a look at Sharon's question about Bella Abzug.  Her question is why I included it here.

Just don't fall into the pitfalls.  When you start to see wrinkles, get a barium chamber like Michael Jackson and then overdose so your fake face doesn't fall off.

I always wonder with MJ what might have been but for the Pepsi accident. His weirdness went extreme after that - he was convinced that the fire had permanently disfigured him, so the multiple surgeries took off - lifts to pull the scars up under his hairline or stretch them under his chin, bleaching to make them less noticeable (burn scars are lighter in colour than the surrounding skin). His addiction to prescription painkillers also started then - nerves were exposed, the pain must have been excruciating.
