I was. Until I retired. At age 44. Now I don't have to work. And it seems I'm good at this too.

I was in business. My partner and I built and ran an engineering and design firm w/general contracting, all supporting our commercial real estate development venture, for 17 years. We did really well. I sold off around 80% of my interests in early 2008 for, ...well, ...enough to ensure that my great-grandchildren will go to a top college.

I pay the rent by being a General Contractor and am dedicated to satisfying my clients. I have lifelong clients that always want to pay me more money than what i bill them. My waiting list is quite long. So am very grateful for all of my clients... and very happy to service them.
I'm in human services and I am good at it because I recognize that we are all just people. We all have strengths, weaknesses, talents and struggles and we're all just trying to get by.
