You do? You mean for wanting to be here or because of the people you encounter here?  Thank you for your reply Ele and Happy Wednesday! :)

I could always be doing something more important...like taking a nap or watching NCIS reruns.

So like moths to a flame you cannot help yourself? Hmmm. Perhaps you should try to figure out the why of it. I cannot even begin to understand why anyone would be anywhere if there were something else he/she would rather be doing. I'm here when I'm here because I want to be. When I'm done I leave and go on to other things. This is the time of day set aside SPECIFICALLY to  be on Answermug. My choice. Sad that being here isn't yours. That's life. Thank you for your reply Ele.

It IS a choice. Just like smoking. Actually I'm here right now because of all the woman chatter about the kitchen going on downstairs.

So I got it wrong.  Apologies. I have before.  I will again. I used to avoid women chatter/clatter too as a kid. I'd go into the back room, sit by my dad and watch him and my uncles play poker. after dinner. That's how and where I learned to play. The womenfolk were always talking about husbands and kids and clothes. Boring stuff to an 8-year-old. I never said a word. I promised my dad I'd be good and he'd never know I was there. I just watched his hand and the cards he was dealt and what he said and how he played them. I was never asked to leave although I suspect my presence kinda hampered their language but I can't be certain of that. And I taught my kid how to play poker! I passed along the tradition!  Thank you for your reply Ele. You're lucky you have an upstairs to which you can escape! :)

Apologies. No.  I don't read other questions Sbf. No time. I ask too many and when I answer some I talk a lot and I'm always far behind the 8-ball vis a vis acknowledging them. So the significance was lost on me. Mea culpa. Thanks for the video! :)

I respectfully disagree with thee Neelie. In these times one cannot be too careful. However if you have ten deadbolts on one door that may be a bit over the edge. Do you?  Thank you for your reply and Happy Wednesday! :)

I'm pretty good at seeing that about me.

I don't think I act very ridiculous very often.
