Hi Randy.  For continuously inhabited, a lot of cities claim that right.  Many people think it's Jericho.  Others believe it's, Byblos, Damascus, Aleppo, Delhi, or various others  So, if you get a definitive answer from someone, this should be interesting.

     I'm not sure that counts.

Ok, here's a side question: Betty or Wilma?

According to you, practically everything gives me wood!  The wind could blow and I'd be fit to be tied.

(By the way, Lyr, I don't suppose you could arrange to be at my place along with Betty and Wilma at about 11 pm this Friday, could you?   Shhhhhhhhhh!)

Ur, Accad or Jericho, depending on which anthropologist you're reading.

No, no, no, no! Intercourse (PA) is first (if you're traveling to the northeast) and Middlesex (township, PA) is between the two.

Eridu is a contender. As is Ur, already mentioned.
