As god is my witness, I shall never go hungry again.

(I dont read anything anybody would recognize. Usually just science books.)

I hope Andy is down there.
I hope I can make it across the border.
I hope to see my friend and shake his hand.
I hope the Pacific is as blue as it has been in my dreams.
    I hope.

YES!! Yay! You made my night, my2cents, thanks!
    :)

"Our Mother's House" by Julian Gloag -- an unnerving book but oh-so-good to me. A good movie was made based upon the book, too.

Yes! And you made me happy again tonight!
    :)
I came across Slartibartfast's question again this evening.
    :)

I recommend the book a lot.

I've come across book covers of the book with artwork I like better than this one but this is the book cover of the book I read. Looking at it still sort of chills me like when I was reading it.
    :)

Everyone loves something for nothing...even if it costs everything.

Yours is either the Bible or Stranger In A Strange Land  This post was edited by my2cents at October 31, 2017 8:00 PM MDT

    I don't know it.
It sounds possibly a horror type book or a sad drama.
