    Maybe. But Carter is a Democrat, so that might be a problem. Personally, I would send him, what is there to lose? He made peace in Israel back during his Presidency.

    (( hugs)) Exactamundo!  I think political party is irrelevant in such a case and in such times. His intentions are honorable. Certainly they are not political. I totally agree with thee bh. He has had some degree of success trying to broker peace in the past. "What is there to lose"? Thank you for your thoughtful reply.

    That is unkind. I gather you dislike the man. Why doesn't matter. I believe he is in his 90's. I hope if you reach that age others speak more kindly of you than you do of him. Thank you for your reply.

  • No, absolutely not. Bless his heart, Jimmy doesn't believe in following instructions. George H W Bush found that to be the case during his own presidency. President Carter tries to do far too much freelancing outside of official directives and policy. It's a flaw he's had his entire life. He's a know it all and would be a disaster in NK.
