In my dotage, I can scarcely remember what I asked yesterday...much less when I asked this question. Got some different answers...I think.

It does stink. That's why I was never part of a movement. When one gives up their individuality to become part of a whole, they lose their identity and simply exist instead of living. They live in the box instead of thinking outside of it.

Individual: asinglehumanbeing, asdistinguishedfroma "group" or as I said, a movement. If I was part of a rugged individualist movement, then I would no longer be an individual that isn't part of a movement. But because I am an individual that isn't part of a movement, I simply can't be part of the rugged individualist movement. Why? Because I'm an individual that was never nor am I now part of a movement. What part of being an individual is stereotypical. Is being an individual that is totally unique and different from anyone else somehow stereotypical?
Stereotype: a set idea that people have about what someone or something is like, especially an idea that is wrong.
Oh yeah, your joke was eclipsed by someone's lack of humor. Stinks, I get it. By the way, nice jugs. (I think I've secretly always wanted to say that!)
Me to Harry, I wore all black for ten years and changed my hair from green to pink to blue to black. Well you get the picture. I sort of fit in with the style of Punk, but not part of it per say. My husband was a hippy though. I guess I never had the chance to figure out what I was, so I just wore all black. LOL
Peace and Love huh?? When all of that was going on I was living in an Ashram in India studying with my Spiritual master. But Peace and Love?...Love it how about you? too much to embrace?
