So does my dad! In fact, I really don't like my iphone at all. It drives me crazy. I wish I still had a flip phone :) Better yet, I wish our phones still sat on the desk or hung from our kitchen wall! It was bliss when people couldn't reach you 24/7.

Many of us still hold true these things: Common Sense Principles morals Gratitude Respect It is unnerving and flat-out frightening to see many young people aren't even aware of these. This could tend to leave us, "uptight."

I have the canny ability to believe everything and anything. I do believe it. I just wish they would express themselves in a language I understand. Please know too, since this was such a generalization to all, I know there are many, many Millennials who don't hold true to the negative aspect. All generations have the good, the bad, and the ugly ;). I'm simply going with the movement of the question stated. Great to see ya! Love, Merlin
My consolation is that, with a little luck, young people with that attitude will be "old." and some young whippersnapper is going to feel the same way about them. :) Unfortunately, I probably won't be around to see it.
My son always called me fatty for a joke, I always said to him ' wait toll you're in your 20's and your metabolism slows down, the way you eat will come back and bite your ass ....he's fat, dad wins!
At my age now, I am not nearly as uptight as I used to be. I don't have to worry about the things that the younger ones do anymore. Most of us in our "golden" years have retired and are enjoying the fruits of our labor. It's the younger ones who are more uptight then us old folks.

And, being old as we are, we know this question was a generalization on all of us over the age of .... let's say 25? ... Big giggles! No, probably 50. Hi Merlin, Lulu is fine. She just had her lunch and is sawing logs LOL. I don't think being grumpy has any age set to it. It's a matter of what kind of life one has. Most of us have known grumpy or uptight people of all ages. One of the best ways for us to be happy is not to associate with grumpy, uptight people. Hugs back at ya.
Because we had to walk 7 miles to school and back, up hill both ways! Our phones had cords. We had to take turns holding the rabbit ears at a certain angle to get a channel on the TV. We didn't get participation trophy's. We were taught that we had to work hard.
And to top it all off, we know that one of these days the Country will be run my millennials! .
