Those are some old crayons. I think they call that colour "peach" now. I remember having one labelled "flesh" though. It was so long ago though, that I may not have even been aware of the existence of black people.
LOL I just bought a box. They have flesh crayolas.
Hmm, I'd like to see that. Wikipedia says they did change "flesh" to "peach"

Oh GOD do I LOVE you. Thank you so much for caring to check and I MEAN that.
I forgot to tell you. LOL
I bought them at Savers. It's a re-sale shop.
BUSTED. I AM BUSTED.
Ahah, that's what I figured :-)
It is quite a stupid name for the color. "Flesh" means meat. Most meat is red. Granted...it is the color of pig meat which make the name even stupider.
Flesh with skin over it is still referred to as flesh.
Yep, you got me.
Most meat is not red. Most red is under the skin. The skin is part of the flesh.
Thus, we have the crayon conundrum.
Now you guys, here is how I would have answered this question if I did not write it. I would argue the obvious.
They already have a BLACK crayon. That was there before the flesh color or the white even.
So I win my own argument against me.
Now you are thinking, Nell!!!!
To be fair, the multitude of course that people come in would mean that all colours, sort of, could be labeled as flesh colour .. and seeing as they are designed for young kids i don't think this would help much with their colour learning of their understanding ... just my thoughts
It is not.
That should be one of the colors, especially if Trump wins the election....;-D...
OLD SCHOOL, do not even say that as a JOKE. He's not getting in. NOT. GETTING. INNNNNN
My reference to Dinka tribespeople was based upon decent NBA career of Manute Bol...
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manute_Bol
...who, according to sportswriter Bill Simmons, was so black he was purple.
I am not aware of any other NBA players who are known to be Dinka or near-descendents of Dinka, but it's entirely possible some NBA players have Dinka in their ancestry.
With respect to car colors, BMW has a color called Carbon Black Metallic which I think is what your looking for (although I wouldn't recommend it for your hot climate)..

Just name all the Crayons "flesh". Then everyone will be happy.
What???
It's only an insult if you want it to be.
Oh yeah.
