    Me. There are these weird intersections in Detroit------ the sign says "TURN ON GREEN LIGHT ONLY."  Well, the green light never comes on except during the daytime.

    We have one similar to that. In the early morning before the rush, the green light will not come on. We often just turn left on the red.

    I thought you were supposed to wait till the sign turned green. 
    Go would mean turn around and go home.
