Just as in all marriages, Adam and Eve did the "marrying."
Marriage is is the "covenant by which a man and a woman establish between themselves a partnership of the whole of life and which is ordered by its nature to the good of the spouses and the procreation and education of offspring"
I added the emphasis---Marriage is creative as well as procreative.
I suppose it's kinda like today, a Christian couple will marry and the marriage will conform to Bible laws and principles as well as to the law of the land, so they were yoked together by God and His laws before there was a Bible or man-made governments.

According to Islam they were both Muslims, meaning they both fully acknowledged and accepted the sovereignty of God over them. In Islam marriage is a social contract between two parties, a man and a woman. It does not need a third party to perform it.

Who did their off spring mate with Rosie and what if they only had boys.....Maybe that explains a lot about today's sexual freedoms... I think you got stoned to death for getting up to mischief and still do in certain fanatical countries if the world....:( I wonder now who the best man was....:(
