Why is it supposed to be better to love and pray for your enemies instead of practicing witchcraft against them?

It's all about public appearance. 

Obviously your knowledge of Witchcraft is even less than your knowledge of God.

I know I am supposed to fear God -does that mean he is an enemy?
What would happen if I used witchcraft against him?

I suppose love can be hard work and long suffering but likely to be better than practicing witchcraft. I've heard practice of witchcraft did more harm to the practioner in the end than anything else.

Ah yes.

Christians say they pray for atheists now they are getting lots of atheists.

Because most people are not good enough at witchcraft for it to have much effect?

Or it scares them when they start getting too deep into the stuff.
