I was just thinking about some of the boats I have had. 18' VIP fish and ski that was really something like 17.5, 20' procraft fish and ski 20.5 19' Skeeter fish and ski 18.5
You would think that the procraft was the bargain but was the hardest boat I ever had to put back on the trailer. Had stress cracks, windshield didn't shut right, other issues.
My favorite and the one I regret selling was a 22' Bennington Pontoon, 2275 FSI to be exact. It was so nice I felt bad getting shad or catfish slime on the carpet and always afraid to get a hook in the seat or something. Banged up the trailer a bit trying to muscle it on with a crosswind as I had success with some of the other boats with that technique, lol.
Yes, I have the name I want to use if the occasion arises: ARIEL. It was the name of the boat that the poet Percy B. Shelley was sailing on when he lost his life.
