The only time I was ever on a golf course I was volunteering at an event for golfers with disabilities. It was amazing to see how far a one-armed golfer could hit a golf ball.
I used to live near a golf course when I was a kid. We would hide behind the top green and steal the balls as they landed on the green. Sometimes the golfers would get mad and give chase. We always had the advantage because of the distance.
Oh boy! I was playing in a team 'scramble'. A player on the team behind us got a hole in one. Then two holes later, someone else on that team got a hole in one! Whew! I can't imagine what the mathamatical odds are of that ever happening must be. Anyway, our team still won. (-14)
Twice. Incredible thunderstorms. One in Charleston, SC and one in Bedford, MI. Unfortunately I was on the course and feared for my life. The one in MI caused a major flood in the North side of Toledo.
