I hate to laugh because I am a very proud American but that was funny. We do tend to be more on the rolly-polly side. However, the robins here seem to prove us both wrong. Maybe the European Robin is fluffed up because it is colder and more dreary in weather when they are about? At any rate, they are wonderful birds with a beautiful song no matter where they are singing :D
I couldn’t help myself, sorry. I dont have much self control when it comes to jokes. Once I’ve thought it it’s difficult not to write it. You might be right about fluffed up feathers, that makes sense .They are wonderful bird. I like them a lot
That is very true! Don says they follow him when I'm not looking to McDonalds and together they feast on fries and Big Macs ...... Ick!!!

I'm driving on a country road and I see one up ahead, sitting on a fence post just outside of the bar ditch. He's looking, intently, at something across the road (prey, I figured) and as I got closer, he dove straight at it ... oblivious to the fact that a pickup was coming from the other direction. He flew straight into the side of that pickup. Concentration and dedication ... the bird survived. :)
Hi Element~ I absolutely agree. There is a pair of them that we see almost every day. It's cool because we are up high and can see them soaring sometimes at our level. Don named one Kitty and the other Hawk. Big giggles! They are Very, Very Cool!!
