Crows - ~ I like how they seem to strut around, they look like football players to me and their what-seems-to-be a sense of strong self-confidence.
AND, of course, I've always liked them for this scene in Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds." If I had to choose, I'd pick this scene as the single most perfect scene from any movie I've seen.

I’m not sure if I’ve seen that film. If I did it must have been years ago. I might find it and watch it. I watched one walking in the middle of the road once and a car nearly hit him and he didn’t flinch! They are very cocky
As Pete Murray used to sing: 'Maria, I just met this bird called Maria'. . . . . . But, seriously though, one bird I do have a liking for is the elegant Lammergeier. But the bird I perhaps have a great respect for, also a species of vulture, is the Ruppels vulture (als. Ruppels griffon vulture). This bird has been reliably reported soaring at altitudes exceeding 37,000 feet. Incredible and yet true. What a hero! Yes, I thought you'd be impressed . . .
