Discussion»Questions»Politics» Do you think it a mistake for the Library of Congress to not save every single tweet the president has made since gaining office?
They probably do have a full set, with comments and annotations. But they are likely to restrict access to them to future historians. It is not given to sensationalist scandal seekers.
Anyway, you can make the list for yourself by searching twitter. https://twitter.com/realdonaldtrump

If they haven't, somebody has. It will be one of the things that comes up in the impeachment hearings. As a private citizen, DJT can do as he pleases with his Twitter account, but @POTUS comes under the Federal Records Act - deleting tweets without departmental permission is technically illegal. It's hardly "high crimes and misdemeanors", but on top of obstruction of justice (self-evident), receipt of emoluments (self-evident), sexual harassment (self confessed), assault (caught on camera), racketeering (still under investigation) etc it may be the straw that breaks the camel's back. And THAT camel won't go through the eye of a needle, either - he's going to Hell and knows it.
And impeachment hearings are scheduled for when? What do you do in Australia that you presume to know so much about the US? Do you have a job and work for a living?
