I never let small disputes effect me. i never let small displeasures affect me. i rejoice in small things like watching the sunset from my couch or listen to birds in the tree next to my bedroom. Looking at life with laughing eyes;)) Thats all my friend,...it really makes life go smooth and steady!
I am pleased to behold the success of my hobby, which is buying food at sale prices. I have collected about a thousand pounds (guessing). Most of this was bought for less than half price. (Full price for sugar.) Besides what you see in the picture, I have coffee stacked to the ceiling (at $3.75 a can), an upright freezer full of meat and butter, and the excess is in my closet with the clothes, just to get it off the floor. I have no floor space for more shelves.
Interesting. I get enjoyment from getting items for free or close to it by combining sale prices, coupons, store rewards and rebates. I usually get personal care items and have donated them to a drop-in center for homeless teens and to a church that helps people transition from homelessness.

This is my electric trash can. I put a bag in and turn on the recycled computer fan and it sucks the bag in nice and smooth. Pretty lame, huh? But that's what a retired engineer does with so much time and a brain still going full speed.
BTW, I have so much time that on laundry day I roll my tee shirts instead of folding.
Completing a slightly difficult job and doing it well Sitting in my back yard on a cool sunny day Having a good laugh with a good friend Taking a nap on the couch on my porch while the wind chimes ring me to sleep Having fire in the fireplace.
I did ALL of these things today. It was a good day.
My workouts. My mind is clearer, and I am less stressed about the small stuff when I work out. Coffee My dog This gorgeous, cold weather Lemon curd Coffee Music and, coffee
