    Very few.  Counting my husband who is my BF.  A couple of women my own age, a couple of men I have gone to concerts with or served on boards with, my oldest stepdaughter, my oldest niece and her husband.  Which is about it.

    No would not expect them to "have my back".  Is not like I am a gang or something like that. Friends for me are just people I like and enjoy as they like and spending time with me.  Sometimes we confide in one another and sometimes we just hang out.
