    Yes. It was about the development of civilization in certain areas of Europe during the Iron Age.  Population centers grew around areas that had iron ore deposits, water and trees.  The countries with the most of these three thing flourished, if I remember correctly.  My watching it was interrupted and I never saw that a rerun of was going to be on.

    I read a little story a long time ago about the guy who gave us that little red string around the top of an individual pack of crackers, a pack or cigarettes, a pack of Extra gum, and lots of other things.  The little red string opened the cellophane.  That man got rich because of his little idea.
